Getting ready for the summer season

                 The summer season is fast approaching. Its the time when school's close and holiday's for students. For working professionals this is not the case, for them life goes on with not much changes. Summer is the time when we have to be more careful with our health. The heat, high temperatures can take its toll on the body. So we have to be prepared. Proper care has to be taken in the type of food that we consume, amount and type of liquid substance that we eat. Human body is sensitive to heat, hence special care has to be taken to stay fit during summers.

     

    Some of the health tips i would like to share are : 

     

    • Try to maintain a good hygiene. It helps to keep you healthy and clean.
    • Water is the best option to quench thirst. Also you can opt for cocunut water, lemon jucie. 
    • Try to minimize the intake of carbonated artificial drinks and try to drink more natural fruit juices.
    • Include more amounts fruits and vegetables in your diet.
    • Do not drink very chilled liquids as it can affect your body.
    • Avoid alcholic drinks.
    • Minimize the consumption of hot, spicy and fried foods items.
    • Try to stay indoors during mid day to avoid sunburns.
