Tips for keeping PC safe

     New technologies, new inventions are being discovered in every fields. Computers are used almost everywhere. New advancements in hardware and software's are written to make our work easy. With new technology, there is also increase in risk also. With anti-social people trying to spread virus, steal passwords etc, it is very important to keep our computer and our data safe and secure. Everyday new virus are created, that is designed to steal data, and cause damage to computer. So it is very important to provide safety to our computer. There are many things that we have to take good care about. We can keep our PC safe if we follow these small steps.  
  

   

  • Use a good anti-virus. 
  • Use a good Spyware software's.
  • Make sure that you do not open or execute files that you are not sure is safe.
  • Keep all your software's updated,especially update your antivirus software.
  • Delete cookies, cache, internet history files, logs etc with a wiping program.
  • Do not use public computers for any secure transactions, they usually have Trojan horses that capture your passwords.
  • Use a long, strong password that includes both letters, numbers.
  • Change your passwords every few months.
  • Perform regular checks and scans on your system.
