  When you want to make your PC shutdown at a specific time of your wish. You might have come across this in some of the applications like ovens and also media players that help us to off at a specific time. It is also possible in computer, and you can follow any of these below methods.

  
  METHOD 1

  •  Right click on your desktop and choose "New => shortcuts".
  • In the box that says "Type the location of the shortcut", type in "shutdown -s -t 3600" , without the quotation marks and click next. (Note that 3600 is the amount of seconds before your computer shuts down. So , 60 secs *60 mins = 3600 secs and you can give any time of your interest.)
  •  Make up a name for the shortcut and you're done here.

   

  =>>You can change the icon by right clicking -> properties ->change icon ->browse

  
  TO ABORT:
  For making an abort key to stop the shutdown timer just create another shortcut and make
  the "location of the shortcut" to " shutdown -a " without the quotes.

  Here is another trick to shutdown at a specific time, for example you wish to shutdown at 11:35 am. Type this in
