IAS officer’s initiative for CBI probe into DK Ravi’s Death

  Everyone is aware of the unforgettable incident about DK Ravi’s Death. In recent times the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers in Karnataka state have raised their voice and demanding CBI inquiry into the death of colleague late DK Ravi.

  

   

  Many among them nearly 13.5 lakh people had signed an online petition and sent to Honerable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. 

  They said that, "There are attempts from some quarters to assassinate the character of the IAS officer,".

  M Madana Gopal, Additional Chief Secretary (Environment, Forest and Ecology) spoke to the news agency Press Trust of India and shared that, "We won't allow attempts to kill Ravi for second time."

   

  Mr Gopal, added, "They are able, but this case is of different genre and should be given to an independent agency,".

  DK Ravi, was working as Kolar district collector and at that time he was been taken on by the sand mafia. He was reportedly getting threats, and found hanging at his apartment on Monday. The police officials have filed FIR as "prima facie, but actually it was not a case of suicide.
