As we already reported that Maharastra State Commission for Protection of Child Rights has asked Mumbai cops to file a FIR against SRK. This is due to the scuffle after the match held on May 16, 2012 between Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians.
A N Tripathi secretary of the commission stated in the order, "At the time of the incident, Shah Rukh Khan, having actual charge and control over children accompanying him, exposed them which is likely to have caused mental suffering to the children... Thus Prima facie it is established that rights of child have been violated hence registering FIR is mandatory,".
Advocate Abha Singh said, "The order has shown that the Mumbai police did not file an FIR because of there were people in power involved. This order will ensure that this abuse of power is kept in check,"
