Director Vishal Bhardwaj is on cloud nine as his film “Haider” was nominated for the National Awards today. i.e. on March 24. The latest news is that Vishal Bhardwaj and his team have got more than exceeded.
Speaking to the reporter Director says, "We have got more than what we expected. We have got five awards and I am overwhelmed,".
It is to be mentioned that "Haider" is set under the backdrop of William Shakespeare's tragic novel named "Hamlet". This film based on Kashmir, locales. Through this film Playback Singer won Best Male Award for "Bismil" song.
Bhardwaj added that, "While making this film, I went with my conviction and I am happy that it has been appreciated,". It is to be mentioned that the Director has won 4 National Film Awards earlier.
Director says, "I am a bit disappointed for Shahid. His performance was really good in the film. I feel sad for Shahid,".
