  Omung Kumar is the debut director who started his career with Priyanka Chopra’s ‘Mary Kom’ is super-excited as his film is selected for National Award winning. He says that he couldn’t assimilate the news first.

  

  The film is based on the backdrop of Boxing champion in real life who is none other than M. C. Mary Kom. The director says that it is the “biggest high” forever to him.

  Director says, "Winning a National Award for my first film is the biggest high I could have got. God, I can't believe it."

  He added, "I'm sitting in Malaysia right now and getting to know this news from people, and I couldn't understand first as to did we get nominated or did we win, and then finally when I came to know that it really happened, I just couldn't believe it.”

  He concluded, "It's a dream come true for a debut director. Thank you all for your support," .
