Jisshu Sengupta is part of many prestigious films like BOSE: The FORGOTTEN HERO, MARDANI, THE LAST LEAR, BARFI!. The latest we heard that Jisshu shares his rapport with none other than Big B, Irrfan and Deepika.
Jisshu says, “Yeah you are right. I have been lucky to work with quality directors like Shyam Benegal, (late) Rituporno Ghosh, Shoojit Sircar, Aparna Sen etc. Actually I believe in quality work and as I have been getting good projects regularly I did not venture much elsewhere. But that does not mean that I will not work in big commercial ventures. You know I was also offered KAHAANI but unfortunately I could not do it”
Jisshu Speaking about PIKU, Amitabh, Irrfan and Deepika, the actor says, “Amitabh Bachchan is a legend and there is such a lot to learn from this humble giant. I have been lucky to work with him twice, though this time I just have one scene with him. Irrfan is another nice person, but once the camera rolls he becomes something else. Deepika is very sweet but does not talk much on the sets. Coming to my character, in PIKU I play a small but important role. My character is cute and sweet”.
