The adrenaline rush that I got felt like the first time that I had driven a car when I was sixteen. It felt like a milestone that I had overcome after such a long time of waiting. The thought made me smile as I realized that I was in charge of my life. I didn’t have to rely on anybody to take care of me but myself.
