Vodafone users can now choose their own mobile number

Telecom services provider Vodafone India has launched a new facility ‘Choose Your Number’, under which its pre-paid and post-paid customers will able to choose their own mobile numbers.

Choose Your Number service enables customers to customise new Vodafone number of their choice. The facility can be availed at any of the 52 stores and 212 mini stores and over 40,000 Multi Brand Outlets (MBOs) of Vodafone.

The prepaid customers in Delhi and NCR can opt for numeric combinations based on their number they prefer.

Apoorva Mehrotra, Business Head, Delhi and NCR, Vodafone India, said, “At Vodafone Delhi we believe in offering innovative offerings to our customers, tailored to their usage and likings. Choose your number offer has also been designed against the backdrop of giving our customers the freedom to choose. Our customer research also indicates that there is a deep interest amongst the mobile users to have numbers aligned with some significant event in their lives.

With ‘Choose your numbers’ offer we want to acknowledge the faith they have invested in our network and offer another benefit to the prospective customers who have shown interest in subscribing to Vodafone.”

Of late, the company has announced an additional investment of Rs 13,000 crores for capacity augmentation and new business initiatives, reiterating its commitment to Digital India and Make in India.
