I am a self-confessed coffee addict. I work on a pile of documents every day. And my dependable companions each time are coffee and music. I start my day with a prayer and a cup of coffee and end my night with prayer and a cup of coffee. Oftentimes, I stumble upon many articles about coffee which I would like to share with you.

• Coffee also lowers the risk of heart disease, heart attack and cancers. Accordingly, it is the antioxidants caffeic and chlorogenic acid that coffee provides that is protective against cancer and other diseases. It is also highly protective for the cardiovascular system.
• Coffee improves power and strength performance, especially for those living athletic kinds of lifestyle.
• Coffee provides protection against type 2 diabetes and Parkinson’s disease; drinking coffee increases plasma levels of the protein *** hormone-building globulin which controls the biological activity of the body’s *** hormones which play a role in the development of type 2 diabetes
However, researches have also shown that too much addiction over coffee may lead to the following:
• Elevated blood sugar
• Increased blood pressure
• Elevated blood fats
• Heightened symptoms of pre-menstrual syndrome
• Tremors, irritability and nervousness
• Aggravation of anxiety disorders and panic attacks
• Increased stomach acid secretions
• Urinary calcium and magnesium losses
• Insomnia
• Irregular heartbeat
• Increased stimulation of the central nervous system
I am not sure when will I stop liking coffee. But medical experts advise that if you really want to control your coffee intake, you should gradually reduce the amount of caffeine and replace it by drinking more water and breathe fresh air. It is also advised that you seek the help and support of your loved ones.
