  When I was making my college application, I was perplexed when I realized that they also wanted us to write essays. The reason that I found the instruction overwhelming was that I had never had of a reflective essay. I did not even know the information that needed to be incorporated into it. This made me feel frustrated because I did not like to deal with things that I was not prepared for. I was glad though that the internet now existed, and we could get any information that was required from it. I wondered what other students before me had done without the help of the internet. I hoped to do my essay and finish the assignments within specified deadlines.

  
  

  It turned out that the college wanted me to give an opinion on various matters that they had listed on their instruction sheet. This included environmental cleanliness, the recession, and other issues that affected the economy. Since it was an essay, I knew that I had to take more than four hours to carry out the research and write out the essay. The information that I got on the internet also made me realize that it was best to write out the document on a first person basis. This would ensure that my emotions and feelings were reflected correctly in the essay.
