Comic Con India is a unique event celebrating the illustrated medium, which brings together the whole comics industry and related fields such as merchandise, games, films and animation, along with fans of this culture from all age groups. Comic Con India is glad to announce that the traveling version of the national Indian Comics Convention, Comic Con Express will be going to Bengaluru, the technology capital of India this year. The Express version was started with the intention of taking the convention to cities throughout India to support and boost the comics industry by increasing local interaction and participation. Comic Con Express Bengaluru will take place between September 8-9, 2012 at Koramangla Stadium, Koramangla, and Bengaluru.
With the incredible response at Comic Con Express Mumbai in October 2011, Comic Con Express is all set to stimulate the audience in Bengaluru this year. This will be the second express tour but first for Bengaluru. Talking about the initiative founder of Comic Con India, Jatin Varma says, “Comic Con Express which started last year will bring the same atmosphere of the main convention to new fans in different cities every year although, the main event would be annually held in Delhi, we are glad to announce that we are taking the convention to Bengaluru in September. We have been bombarded with messages since our inception to come to Bengaluru and it was inevitable that we do this for our fans.”
