I hope you're all doing well. I have a lovely Goldendoodle, and I've been looking for some advice on training him at home. I understand that professional trainers can be a great resource, but I also believe that there's a lot we can do ourselves to train our furry friends.
So, if you have any tips or suggestions for training a Goldendoodle at home, I would really appreciate your input. Whether it's basic obedience, house training, or even some fun tricks, I'm open to all ideas.
One thing I've found helpful is establishing a consistent routine. Dogs thrive on predictability, so setting regular feeding times, walks, and training sessions can create a sense of structure and make training easier. I'm also planning to use positive reinforcement techniques, like treats and praise, to reward good behavior and encourage my Goldendoodle to repeat it.
I'm particularly interested in any advice related to crate training and housebreaking. If you have any strategies that have worked well for you, please do share.
Lastly, if there are any recommended resources like books, online videos, or specific training techniques that have proven successful with Goldendoodles, I'd love to hear about them.
